EOTD: Peacock Blood

I wanted to do an EOTD with some of the new things I bought at Enchantra, and then I found out that the beautiful old gold eyeshadow by Coastel scents, was already in my Creative me #2 palette *facepalm.
Apparantly, I really like that colour, hahaha. I might put it in a giveaway or something ;)

Products used:

Coastel Scents, Creative Me #2 palette
Scaredy Cat Cosmetics, Peacock Blood

I used the old gold colour over my whole moving eyelid, a coppery/orange colour in my crease, and a highlighter below my eyebrows. These are all from the Creative Me #2 palette. The copper is a lot more orange on the pictures than in real life though.

I applied Peacock Blood above my crease, don't you just LOVE that name? I had to have it ;)
It's a beautiful dark red, and I think it goes well with the old gold.

With some Sleek Fenberry on my cheeks and Chanel Fatale on my lips:

I really like how everything matches with my Vive Maria top and my Nightmare Before Christmas pendant :)

EOTD: Another Heartbreaker

Another week old Heartbreaker look, I'm a bad blogger!

I didn't use the green for this look, ands focused more on the blue colours.

I once again, added the darkblue gelliner from Catrice, Nautica (LE). I think this one matches really well with the colours from the Heartbreaker palette.

I'm not a really big fan of blues on my eyes, but from time to time, I still do a blue look. You can't always stay in your comfortzone, that's no fun! ;)

With Sleek Amethyst lipstick and Catrice's Colour Bomb Blush.

And a quick pic of my hair:

I know it's messy, but I kinda like it :)

EOTD: Au Naturel

If you read some of my posts, you know I'm not big on the natural look. I like to use bold colours, to express myself.

But, ever since Sleek came out with the Oh So Special palette, I found that I liked the more natural look with ,for example, some bold red lips. Not every day though, but once in a while, it's a nice change.

Which is kinda weird, if you knew me yeaaaaaars ago. Back then, I used mostly browns, and the last several years I haven't owned much brown. Maybe I'd been saturated for a while, hahaha

Anyway,  I have almost every I-divine palette Sleek has made, so when I saw the Au Naturel palette at the Enchantra showroom, I decided to take it home with me.

Colours used:
Nougat, Cappucino, Taupe, Conker, Moss and Mineral Earth.

And the gelliner, Sherlock and Khaki Homes by Catrice. Which for some reason didn't want to stay on my eye, when I used my lascurler. *frowns*

I really like the shimmery browns in this palette, but I guess I've always had a weakness for them :)

But my most favourite colour, is the green and wellnames colour Moss. It's so pretty!

Shimmery!

If you're into natural colours, you should definately try the Sleek Au Naturel palette. I bought it at Enchantra, but I'm not sure if it's still available, it being a limited edition palette :)

NOTD: Fowl Play

This is one of the polishes I picked up at the Enchantra Birthday Bash, it's called Fowl Play, by Orly.

I like the combination of purple, glitter and flakies, because when it's all-in-one, it means I don't have to layer as much ;)

These are not the best pictures to show you this polish, but it'll have to do. Every time I tried to make pics, the sun hid behind some clouds. Some summer huh?

At least you can see the colour change of the flakies in the bottle, it has the same colourchange on the nails.

The purple isn't  as dense as I would have wanted, on the pics I'm wearing 2 coats. I'm not a big fan of layers of polish, especially because they always same to get dents in them. So it's a bit sheer on some parts, but it only really shows when the light hits it right.
For the layer fans, you probably get a good colour density when you add another layer :)

Daylight didn't give me the pics I wanted, boo!

This polish doesn't just have flakes, but it also has glitters, so it's extra awesome! ;)

You can buy this polish at the Enchantra webshop for 6,95 euros, it's from the Birds of a Feather collection. For that amount, you get 18 ml, which is much more then most standard brands will give you for that much money. (for example, Rimmel polishes are only 8 ml, China Glaze 14 ml)

EOTD: Ultra Mattes Darks

This is an EOTD that I did, when the Sleek Ultra Mattes Darks came in. I've never been a big fan of mattes, they tend not to blend on my skin, get patchy results, and just look a bit bland to me.

But when Sleek came out with a matte palette, I definately wanted to give it a go. Sleek always has great pigmentation, and their 2 new palettes gave a lot of different colours to work with.

It's not a great EOTD, I just started applying colours on my eyes, just to see what they would do and how they would blend and such. This one is from somewhere in May..I'm a bad baaaad blogger.

As you can see, it didn't really want to blend well in the middle, and got a bit patchy. Still, not as bad as other mattes I've tried before.

I used almost ALL of the colours of the palette, except: Highness, Noir and Fern. Oops! hahaha

I have to say, that these mattes were a lot more fun to work with, and I think it was a great choice to get these palettes.

I'll probably never do a complete matte look again, but it's nice to have them to add to other more glittery and shimmery colours.

EOTD: First look with the Heartbreaker palette

This is the look I did, when I first received the palette. It's been 2 weeks, I know, I'm way behind on blogposts. But, I've got a lot on my plate right now, sorry about that.

As most of you will know, I'm a big Sugarpill fan. I own all eyeshadows, and when I heard about new colours, I got pretty excited. As a big green and purple lover, I jumped pover the moon, when I saw the heartbreaker palette. A limegreen AND a pinkish purple? W00h00
I reserved the palette in advance at Enchantra , to make sure I'd have the palette as soon as possible :)

Look at those beautifull colours! I'm not a big blue fan, or mint, because pastels really don't suit me. But these just make such a pretty combination!

The gelliner is the darkblue one from the latest Catrice LE collection, Cruise Couture, Nautica. I think it gives a nice extra touch of blue :)

I'm not going to review this palette, because there are a thousand out there already. I'm just going to say that this is once again a masterpiece by Sugarpill, and if you're into bold colours, you really -need- the Heartbreaker palette! ;)

EOTD: Enchantra Bday Bbq Bash

This is my EOTD from when we went to Enchantra. I wanted it to match my peacockfeatherprint dress, yeah, I own several ;)

I totally forgot to make pictures before we went outside, so I made these on the train. Which means, the lighting is even crappier than usual ;)

I used several I-Divine palettes by Sleek.
Below my eyes, I used an eyeliner by Bourjois to keep the eyeshadow in place.
I also used DollyWink eyeliner above my upperlashes.

Monaco palette: Bamboo and Hummingbird (highlighter and between the yellow and green iguana)
Curacao palette: Green Iguana (on the middle and outside of th eyelid)
Bohemian palette: the nameless dark red (above the crease), nameless dark blue (in the crease)
Sunset palette: the nameless yellow (inner eye corner)

At first, I wasn't sure about the colourcombo, but I decided that if it looked good in print, it should look good on my eyes aswell. Luckely it did, because I didn't have time to do my makeup all over again.

The print of the dress that I wanted to match:

I think it turned out to be a great match and I really liked to colourcombo on my eyes :)

NOTD: Boys are back in Town

This is a NOTD with one of the Essence Colour3 nailpolishes.

This is Boys are back in town on it's own:

A nice lilac colour, with a hint of grey in it. I'm usually not into lilacs, but when you apply It's just a little Crush over it, it becomes this gorgeous shimmering polish, that chanes with the light:

Indoors:

Daylight:

I really like this topcoat and when the Catrice LE topcoat collection came out, one of them reminded me of this one. This topcoat is a milky see through substance filled with bright pink shimmer and some blue here and there. I bet it's gorgeous on top of other colours aswell. This polish is part of the normal Essence collection and if I remember correctly, less than 3 euros.

Enchantra Birthday BBQ Bash Haul

So last weekend was the Birthday Bbq Bash at the Auryn Beauty Showroom, online mostly known as the webshop Enchantra, so we went allllll the way to the south of NL, to celebrate, shop, eat and have fun.

Ever since I knew we were going, which was a couple of months, I'd been saving up to go wild again. I love to see the makeup upclose and decide there and then if I want it or not. I always come up with some surprise products aswell that way. :)

From the normal collection:
Konad, Inoje Flobu, BB Cream
Sugarpill, Eyelash Overdose, Shady Lane
Sleek, Glitter Eyeliner, Steel
Glittergal, Nailpolish, Lizard Belly (dark green holo!!!!)

Orly, Nail Lacquer, Fowl Play

Scaredy Cat, eyeshadow, Hera (with Peacock artwork!)
Scaredy Cat, eyeshadow, Peacock Blood (d0h! ;)  )
Sleek, Idivine palette, Au Naturel

Konad, Art, Makeup Brush, Gel Liner Brush

The new makeup products by Konad were all in the sale cabinets. I loved the packaging of the lipsticks, so pretty!. My eye fell on this brush, because I hadn't found the right brush yet for gelliner. Slanted, pointed, nothing worked as good as I wanted. This brush is triangular and sturdy, and it works like a charm! I've been using it daily ever since ;) Oh, and it was only 3,95 euros!!

All form the sale cabinets:

Small Eyeliner / Smudge Brush (no name)
Sigma, Blending Brush, E - 25 (already have this one, and love it! They were so cheap I bought two :P)
A double brush, eyeshadow and pencil brush (no name) (seems to be handy for my purse)
Pro Blending Fluff Brush C433 (I think it's from Sigma aswell, not sure though)
Whimsical Lashes, FL - 01 (couldn't find a name on these)
Whimsical Lashes, FL - 03
Coastel Scents, Glossi Glaze, Ru Bella
Coastel Scents Hot Pots, S06, HP-ME01 and HP-ME15
Coastel Scents, Eye Shadow Samples, Karma, Funk and Aqua Zone.
Coastel Scents, Go palette, Paris

All brushes were just 2 or 2,5 euros! All the other things were 1 or 2 euros, except the lashes were 3 and the palette 5.

EOTD: ilLuminated Magpie

I've been playing around more and more with Sugarpills Tako, and I really like the effect it has in combination with some darker colours.

Products used:

Sugarpill, Pressed Eyeshadow, Tako
Sugarpill, Pressed Eyeshadow, Bulletproof
Sugarpill, Loose Eyeshadow, Lumi
Sugarpill, Loose Eyeshadow, Starling
Sugarpill, Loose Eyeshadow, Magpie
Gosh, Velvet Touch Eyeliner, Pretty Petrol

I applied some Lumi over the white and blue, to blend it together a bit more, but also to give it hat beautifull duochrome shine.

I really liked this EOTD, and it's a bit of a shame that I couldn't find the right lighting to catch it on cam right.

Looking a bit surprised here, hahaha

You can't really tell from these pics, that these eyeshadows shimmer beautfully, so I guess you just have to take my word for it.

I really like this colourcombo and I'm definately going to try and pair Tako with some other colours.
