EOTD: A Velvet Vampire meets a Zombie Tramp in an Asylum

This time I tried to make a wearable EOTD with lots of red eyeshadows, and I think I succeeded!
It's such a shame I'm such a bad photographer, because these pics don't do this look justice.

Products used:

Fyrinnae, Velvet Vampire
Morgana Cryptoria, Zombie Tramp
Sugarpill, Loose Eyeshadow, Asylum
Catrice, Absolute Eye Colour, My First Copperware Party
Inglot, Eyeshadow, no. 86
Sugarpill, Pressed Eyeshadow, Bulletproof

I am definately going to us this combo of eyeshadows more often. The little line of Bulletproof made my lashes look just dark enough to not give it that crybaby look.

I really love how all these eyeshadows sparkle. For even more sparkle, I added some Inglot at the outer wing. This was hard to catch on cam, but with some bad lightning, I was able to catch the shift of the colour:

I just put on some Gosh Soft n Shine Aubergine and I have no idea what blush I used, lol. It's probably the Unbeleaf'able blush by Catrice (LE).

I really like how the red colours match the red part of my hair. Also, the red seems a bit muted, but with all the sparkle going on, it still had that special feeling to it.

EOTD: Brown and Gold

This is the EOTD I did on the exact date of our 4th weddinganniversary. We celebrated with cake and my beloved bought me 4 roses that were the exact same kind as I had in my weddingbouquet. He told me to dry these, which was really sweet, because my weddingroses couldn't be dried to preserve them. Probably because they had little skulls stuck into the hearts pf the roses with a bit of wire. So now I kinda have my weddingroses again :)

Products used:
Sleek Au Naturel palette
Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow, Goldilux
Essence, Liquid Ink eyeliner

I wanted to have neutral eyes with a twist. I think Goldilux gave that extra sparkle and the eyeliner shape gave it something special.

MY camera apparantly didn't focus well that day, but hey, you can see all the sparklies ;)

I really don't remember all the colours I've used, because it's been a while, but you can achieve this with all kinds of neutral browns.

I curled my hair and put on some Chanel Fatale lipstick:

That's a Alchemy necklace and I'm wearing a dress by Sinister. It's black velvet with chiffon and lots of lace :)

EOTD: Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds

This EOTD was inspired by some new cobaltblue skinny jeans, that needed a matching eye.

Products used:

Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow, Tako
Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow, Lumi
Sugarpill, Pressed Eyshadow, Afterparty
Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow, Velocity
Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow, Magpie
Catrice Gelliner, Nautica (LE)
Inglot Gelliner, 76

Lumi gave that bit of extra sparkle to make the look a bit special.

I really like the way that little bit of white gelliner below the wing, gives it some brightness and makes it less of an 80's blue eyshadow.

One of the few pics where you can actually see that the Catrice gelliner is a dark blue, not black.

The contrast of the white and the bright blue, really make my eyes pop, dont you think?

Normally I'm not a big fan of blue, but this EOTD, I really liked :)

Castlefest Makeup and Outfit

So here are the pics of my makeup and outfit at Castlefest, don't mind the face, I totally forgot to take pics again, so these were all made after we got home in the evening...pretty tired :)

I really didn't have any time to do a tryout makeup, so I kept it simple and ended up with a bit of circus/clownesque kind of makeup that went well enough with my outfit.

Since these were made a the end of the day, the waterline is a bit gone and the lashes have already been re-attached once, since they were pretty sturdy and my eyes are usually a bit too round for those.

Products used:
-Maybelline color tatoos Infitinte White and Immortal Charcoal
-Sugarpill pressed eyeshadows, Tako and Bulletproof
-Gosh effect powder, Gold Dust
-Essence liquid eyeliner, waterproof
-Hema waterproof eyeliner
-Inglot eyeliner, matte 76 (white)
-Essence glitter froster, Diamond Dust (LE)
-Gosh velvet touch eyeliner, Black Ink
-Ardell false eyelashes, Paris

I dabbed some of the glitter between Tako and Bulletproof, which blended into a grey with lots of glitter :)

I kept the rest of the makeup simple aswell, Chanel Fatale on my lips, and I think Ubeleaf√°ble blush on my cheeks.

This year, I wasn't in a mood to create a costume and so I just made a little outfit that had been waiting to be made for several years. I just can't seem to get around to cerain things. Anyway, as always when I try something new, it turned out completely different, but still nice :)
I also opted for comfort, so no wings, tails or other big accesories and no corset :)

Look at my awesome buttons!

Wearing simple black leggings, a lip service top, a white/beige cotton skirt with lace at the bottom and black sneakers. A little black hat with feathers(with a veil pushed aside) and an Alchemy necklace.
The selfmade things: The satin pinstripe pleated skirt with smaller steampunk buttons, and the bolero from the  same fabric. I was going to make a simple military style bolero and I ended up with this sort of victorian riding jacket :)

Castlefest Haul

Every year, we save up to go on a shoppingspree at Castlefest, and this year we did the same.

SId loves to pimp NERF guns, and the one he wanted the most is not being made anymore. Then my eye fell on this one, and it was over 50% off aswell, the decision was made pretty soon ;)

Some new cameos and things to make jewelry/hairpieces and such myself. I love cameos and since the heart was sold out at EFF, I promised myself I'd buy it at Castlefest if I could.

Dr Who magazine with a dvd with Sid's favourite episode.

 Dr Who, Cyberman!

I'm a big TNBC fan, and since he didn;t have any mugs this year, I bought thise cool bowl :)

My motherinlaw aslways wanted a corset bag, so we bought this one for her.

There was also some sale on clothing, so I got myself this:

And Tony bought me this awesome coat for my bday(its laced at the back):

This yr, you could transfer your Mead and More mead to a plastic bottle, so you could drink it on the terrain. Needless to say we bought lots of bottles, hahaha. Some even went home with us.

Sid's kilt bag has been broken for a while, and when we saw this one, we just had to take it home. It's big enough for sids's (huge) phone and still put some either small items in it. I really love the lock.

We (almost) never go to a fair without buying a tarotdeck for the collection.

These were both made by the same guy that made the leather bracelet I bought last year. He didn't have bigger sizes back then, but he did have them now. So Sid got these form me for his birthday(next to my other present).
These are all handmade and unique designs. I love this one, because it's simple and feels celtic to me.

And this one looks like someone made it out of scrapes, like they would have done in the old days. The pieces with the design on them are form the same letaher as my bracelet :)

We also bought LOTS of goodies form Elegant Curiosities. But since I also got bdaypresents from Sid from her AND we've visited her and bought some more amazing stuff, I'm going to do a whole blog about her and the things we bought soon :)
I'll just leave you with this awesome bat skeleton we got from her:
